Meals at Taveuni Palms

During your stay at Taveuni Palms we will take you on a culinary journey through the South Pacific. All of our recipes have been created right here in our kitchen by our extraordinary staff. Taveuni Island produces a bounty of exotic fruits, vegetables, fresh seafood and from the rainforest, harvests of wild aromatics such as ginger, vanilla and chilies. Our staff has a rich culinary heritage drawn from India and the entire Pacific Rim. Through the combination of fresh organic produce, imagination and love of traditional cooking our chefs have produced a dining experience full of vibrant Pacific flavors.

Everything we serve is homemade and most of our ingredients are organically grown right here on the island. Your personal Chef has taken into consideration your likes and dislikes from your guest form and has in turn designed a menu especially for you. 

We provide different dining locations for each villa so will rotate your dining decks during your stay to make the experience different each night.

(Please do not hesitate to let us know if you would like breakfast earlier then 7am)

Breakfast will be served when you wake and call for service. If you are planning to take an island excursion or go diving we will coordinate your meal times to fit in with your schedule. We ask you to choose from the breakfast menu selection provided.

Lunches are very flexible. If you are busy sight seeing or out on the water please just let us know ahead of time what you would like and we will pack a picnic lunch or snacks for you to take on your journey. Please see lunch menu provided.

Dinner is a very special time of the day. We recommend cocktails and appetizers at sunset.  Your personal chef will prepare for you 4 courses that they have created especially for your stay. Please let us know if you have any allergies or if there are any likes or dislikes that you did not include on the guest questionnaire. Each night we invite you to sit back relax and allow us to excite your taste buds with the ethnic and tropical delights your personal chef has prepared for you.

Drinks and cocktails are available anytime throughout the day. You have a telephone in your villa. Pls call #207 when you require something. Here at Taveuni Palms we are big on service but we also respect privacy. Our staff is here to cater to your very wish and desire so please let us know if you need anything at all.

Taveuni Palms Resort Reservation/Payment Policy:

We require a 25% deposit (non-refundable) due within 7 days of booking. Balance must be received 60 days prior to arrival.

A booking is not recognized nor the space reserved, unless a deposit is received. Reservations made within 60 days of arrival require payment in full at the time of booking. We accept most major credit cards.

*All bookings must be paid in full prior to arrival.

Taveuni Palms Resort Cancellation Policy:

Deposit – No refund
Less than 60 days notice – Cancellation fee will be 100% of rate for every night cancelled

In the event of a cancellation, notice must be received by the Taveuni resort in writing. No refund will be given for no-shows, unused days, or unused portions of pre-paid packages. Refunds are subject to bank fee/credit card fee adjustments. We strongly recommend appropriate insurance protection.

Taveuni Palms will not accept any responsibility for any personal injury, loss or damage to personal equipment or property while staying on the property or during participation in any activity. Taveuni Palms will not accept responsibility for any bodily harm or injury, which may occur while staying on the property or during participation in any activity off the property. Taveuni Palms will not accept any delay, additional expense or inconvenience which may be caused directly or indirectly by events within or outside their control. Taveuni Palms will not be held responsible for refunding unused nights due to flight delay or cancellations. Taveuni Palms will not be held liable for any failure to carry out arrangements agreed to for clients, if such failure is due to fire or other casualties, acts of God, National Emergencies, strikes or shortage of labor or materials or any other causes beyond its control. Please ensure you purchase appropriate insurance protection.
