This wine is made using traditional winemaking techniques including fermentation and maturation in French oak barriques for nine months. The result is a finely flavoured, softly textured and complex wine that finishes with a lovely dry hint of lemony acidity.

Craggy Range is an iconic family owned winery producing expressive wines reflecting the place and its people. This Sauvignon Blanc comes from a selection of vines growing in the old stony soils of Marlborough. Flavours of limes, peaches and apples sit alongside the characteristic herbaceous components and a lovely texture on the palate.

Mt Difficulty Pinot Gris, Central Otago, New Zealand 2021

The Mt Difficulty vineyards are nestled along the banks of the Kawarau river in Bannockburn. This perspective provides sheltered heat over the summer and ensures a long ripening period through to late April. Considered winemaking in this Pinot Gris has lead to a full textured palate which displays classic characters of citrus and nectarine.

Single block pinot gris from Cairnmuir Road in Bannockburn. Pretty lifted perfume of honey dew melon, cantaloupe and fresh nutmeg. Some textbook pinot gris oiliness contributes to a complex textural note of hazelnut meal. A finish of finely drawn acidity balances the palate

Ata Rangi Pinot Gris, Martinborough, New Zealand 2018

Proudly New Zealand family-owned Ata Rangi was planted in 1980 on the gravels at the edge of the tiny, artisan wine village of Martinborough. Produced from vines now up to 23 years of age, this weighty and concentrated pinot gris finishes long and minerally. It’s both a delicious aperitif and our go-to wine for spicy or highly-flavoured cruisine.


Cabernet Sauvignon

At Esk Valley we craft our unique wines using traditional methods and local knowledge to bring our the best of every vintage. This Merlot based blend was crafted from grapes grown in the stony soils of the Gimblett Gravels. It was fermented in open topped fermenters and aged for 12 months in French Oak barriques. A full bodied wine displaying blackcurrant, plums and spice.

Roaring Meg Pinot Noir has been carefully made using selected grapes from our premium Central Otago vineyards. Traditional winemaking techniques, including 9 months French oak maturation, further enhance the fine berry flavours and hints of dry herb.



Esk Valley Rose, Hawkes Bay, 2018

This dry-style Rose is produced from the Merlot grapes grown in cooler sub regions of Hawkes Bay. A very brief period of skin contact followed by a cool fermentation has produced a crisp and vibrant wine with peach and berry fruit aromas and flavours. Serve chilled and enjoy as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to chicken or seafood dishes.

A beautiful sparkling wine that is rich in intensity and refinement. A blend of Pinot Noir (75%) and Chardonnay (25%), this sparkling wine is blended with reserve stocks held in oak barrels and disgorged after a minimum of three years aging on its yeast lees. Lean and crisp, piercing and long, it’s a beautifully tight, vivacious and refined wine with typical Marlborough fruits characters enriched with intense, bready aromas and flavours.


Taittinger Champagne, France

The signature curvee, Taittinger Brut Reserve, is assembled from more than 35 crus and incorporates 40% Chardonnay-this high proportion is seldom offered in a non-vintage Champagne. Distinguished by a delicate nose marked by subtle brioche notes, it has a palate of considerable depth and balance with hints of honey and fresh fruit.

We require a 25% deposit (non-refundable) due within 7 days of booking. Balance must be received 60 days prior to arrival.

A booking is not recognized nor the space reserved, unless a deposit is received. Reservations made within 60 days of arrival require payment in full at the time of booking. We accept most major credit cards.

In the event of a cancellation, notice must be received by the Taveuni resort in writing. No refund will be given for no-shows, unused days, or unused portions of pre-paid packages. Refunds are subject to bank fee/credit card fee adjustments. We strongly recommend appropriate insurance protection.

Taveuni Palms will not accept any responsibility for any personal injury, loss or damage to personal equipment or property while staying on the property or during participation in any activity.
