A trip to Lavena village is your starting point to experience the Lavena Coastal Walk. I recommend the boat and walk tour as your guide will take you from the village on the boat at high tide to explore the many waterfalls that are only accessible by boat. You can then hike through the lush rainforest to a natural swimming pool and picturesque falls. Stop for a refreshing swim and enjoy a packed lunch here. Your guide will point out many of the natural wonders this area has to offer and you may spot the orange dove (this bird is only found on Taveuni). After relaxing you will make your way back along the coast for approximately 1 and half hours returning you to the village. Don’t be surprised if you are invited to have a cup of tea before saying goodbye to this wonderful paradise.
