We are often complimented on the quality of the foods we serve to our guests. The reason for this aside from our fantastic chefs is the fresh ingredients we use in all of our dishes. Taveuni is called ‘The Garden Island of Fiji’ this is because we have such a range of fruit and vegetables available which are locally grown. We grow many at the resort in our garden, to name some are mangos, coconuts, pineapples, papaya, bananas, vudi, breadfruit, oranges, limes, mandarins, passionfruit, avocados, cassava, dalo, tomatoes, beans, mint, basil, bok choy, lettuce, spring onions, bele and chillies. This means that the chef has a great choice to use the freshest ingredients when planning your menu. You will be able to taste the difference.
