Come Bird Watching

Bula
Fiji has 27 species of birds found no where else in the world. The Orange Dove is often sighted when you are hiking through the rainforest at Lavena, Bouma, Des Voux Peak to name just a few locations. The Fiji Goshawk, Collared Kingfisher, Collared Lory and the Honeyeaters are common sights for you to enjoy. The cheeky Kingfisher might even try to share your swimming pool.
It is a great idea to keep your camera handy when you are hiking as you are sure to spot many curious birds that love having their picture taken. It is a delight to watch the birds enjoying the lush tropical gardens at Taveuni Palms and provides many photo opportunities for you to add to your holiday album.
